Malware or just system app?

I want to know because there are numerous posts that it says it's malware. I checked my father's phone, and it doesn't have SVC Agent installed. It's very confusing; some forums says it is just a system app.

It'a just a system app, since it's usually "hidden" in the apps section, but if u toggle "show system apps", that's were it belong.

Thank you, I was just about to use adb on my laptop. Do you also have svcagent on your phone?

Yes, it's on my S25U, and my A52s 5G (and also on my Samsung Tablet too). But it's only visible when I toggle "show system apps" in the apps section.

Thanks. I got alarmed when I saw no svcagent on my father's Samsung phone (in system apps) and also in Secure Folder's system apps. It turns out to be just a false positive.

It is a system app, leave it alone.
