SupportI am trying to get my Samsung MU7000 TV to recognise my Onkyo TX-NR555 AV Receiver. I have connected the Onkyo HDMI Out to the HDMI 4 (ARC) HDMI in on the TV's One Connect box. I have HDMI-CEC enabled on the Onkyo and Anynet+ enabled on the TV.
After several false starts the TV finally recognised the Onkyo receiver at HDMI 4, added HDMI as a sound output option and the ARC connection was working and I received the TV audio output via the Onkyo.
It was working through the evening until I restarted the TV (long press the TV power on the remote). After that the ARC connection was lost and now the TV will not recognise the receiver any more, no matter what I try. I have tried:
- power cycle both the receiver and the TV
- remove and re-insert the HDMI 4 cable from the One Connect box
- disable and re-enable the Anynet+ setting and HDMI-CEC on the TV and receiver
- various combinations of the above
When I remove and reinsert the HDMI 4 cable it gets stuck in a "scanning for devices" loop, which fails to locate a device and a very brief message about manually connecting before starting again or returning to the live TV or showing a screen about source not found and needing to set up manually. Setting up manually it doesn't pass the power cycle test or recognise the device. The keyboard takes up most of the screen when inputting the device model during manual set up so that doesn't work either.
This is incredibly frustrating. It was working! So how do I fix Samsung?!

SupportFound a solution based on another post, based on another post. I unplugged the whole TV for 5 mins, powered up the TV and HDMI audio was available straight away. Anynet+ was enabled on the TV and the HDMI ARC cable plugged in when I powered on the TV.
