It would be fine but do not make it as a habjt. Make sure to fully charge your phone prior the event and just charge it when you have to. Goodluck on your game😊
It's actually futile. The latest phones will adapt to the battery usage. If it's discharging and you're charging it will use trickle charge to try and maintain battery life. It will take a long time to fully charge. Not sure if you can over ride that but I'm pretty sure doing so will ensure a much shorter battery life.

A) As our dear Samsung members reply, it is not recommended to plug-in your device while playing games for a longer period, in order to avoid shock risk and other factors that might affect you and your battery health.
B) If your device is heating up, feel for it at the back and make sure you have enough time to restart it to refresh it. And let it cool for a while. Relocate to a much a cooler environment.
Press and hold the Power key and the Volume down key simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it.
