SupportI just wanna know why does some random apps goes into "Never Sleeping Apps" option automatically even though I don't set them to go there. The app is a messaging app called "Brief" (I use it to securely communicate) and its set to optimized in the battery section for the app, but randomly maybe 3 times a month it would be in "Never Sleeping Apps" option.
PS the app is a US developed, and use by the Military so it's not a malware or risky app to use. This also began after the July Security Update, the reason why I'm asking this now coz it's getting really annoying and it happens twice or thrice, plus the stock camera app and stock calculator is joining the Never Sleeping Apps randomly happened once this month.

I think it's normal. "Never Sleeping Apps" means the RAM will not automatically kill it in its memory when you turn off your phone, unless if you force stop that Brief app.

The apps, including the Brief app are automatically added to "Never Sleeping Apps". Do you think it's normal?

Manually removing the apps that were from sleep/deep sleep will move it to the never sleep list. This also ties in with the Restricted, Optimized, and Unrestricted settings deep within the battery settings of the app, keep this in mind.
