Is it possible for the older samsung Buds (Buds2 and Buds Pro) to have support for the new Samsung Seamless HiFi Codec via software update?

I read that it only needs Galaxy devices running One UI 4 and above to make it work and that made me wonder if its possible to bring support for older buds.

Here is how to check and update your Galaxy Buds software to ensure your Buds are always current.

  • Open the Galaxy Store or Play Store and tap the Search icon.

I'm not sure if this requires a new driver, but let's hope they can add these codecs via a software update. The move your neck feature is quite nice too.
