Scan documents not allowing to save or retake (S22 ULTRA)

Haven't had an issue with this before, but I'm trying to scan a picture of a signed document with document scan, but when the screen pops up that allows you to change the borders, the save, revert, extract text, and back button in the upper right-hand corner do not work. Not sure if this is from a recent update to the camera app or some other one. Taking regular pictures works just fine. I don't want to factory reset if I don't have to, but I haven't had much luck with finding this exact issue online; lot of people reported issues with not being shown the "Tap to Scan" text while in picture mode to open the document scanner, but that's not the problem I'm having. Has anyone experienced this or can help me find a solution?

Try restarting your phone.

I do restart, clear the cache optimized the apps and do the hard reset. But still the problem is there , but when I enter the safe mode the I can save and retake the scan documents also I read in reddit the same problem in s21 and s22 but until now there's no fix. My phone is updated on may patch.

Uninstall an app that's causing it.

I don't know what app caused it because i literally factory reset the phone and didn't install any apps but the problem still there.

I think its defective. Try restarting in Safe mode again.

In the meantime, have you tried third-party document scanning apps, or are you still doing other troubleshooting steps like resetting the camera settings, trying other documents to scan, etc.?
