Software update taking hours to download

Anyone experiencing the same? My software update last month took more than 12 hours to download, and now the May update is taking too long to download again. I'm using mobile data (5G) (No available wifi). Apps are updating and installinf fast naman, so I don't think I have a problem with connection.

How to resolve this? I remember the first update for my S23 ultra was downloaded in seconds only, but now it's taking forever.

For me it only depends on your connection. My software update last month only takes a few minutes, maybe 5 to 10.

depends on you're location since 5G is not a stable connection indoors.

Hey Tolitz24,

You may be experiencing connectivity issues. You can try turning Airplane Mode on and off to reset your connection. You may also try searching for a new network in your area by doing the following steps:

1. Head to Settings > Connections

2. Tap Mobile networks

3. Go to Network mode and select 3G only, and then select 5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect) again. This will force your phone to look for a new access point in your area, hopefully one that isn't as congested.

Let me know if these fixes work.
