Hello Starcat2000,

Thank you for letting us know about your experience with your Samsung Galaxy 8 having issues of getting a pop up saying user not logged in ever since you made a new email. I feel and understand why you are worried for a device that you've take care so much. If my device is facing similar experience, I will be bothered too.

Before you try out the below recommendations as to your solution, be sure to check if your device's software are updated with the latest version. Please check how to update your mobile device's software in the following order.

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Did you check the user profiles?

Step 1. From a Home screen, touch Apps > Settings

Step 2. Scroll down and touch Users under the Device tab.

Step 3. If it's not required to have that user profile affect your browsing experience, you may opt to delete it.

If that doesn't work, you may try safe mode.

  • Press and hold the Power button, typically located on the right-hand side of your Samsung smartphone.
  • A screen like the one shown in the accompanying screenshot should appear after a couple of seconds. You can let go of the Power button at this point.
  • Tap and hold Power off.
  • Tap Safe mode. If the Safe mode option does not appear, return to the previous screen and make sure that you are tapping and holding the Power off button.
  • Your phone will now reboot into safe mode. This can be confirmed by the “Safe mode” indicator shown in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.

Reset network settings.

Step 1. Go to Settings and select General management.

Step 2. Select Reset.

Step 3. Select Reset network settings.

Step 4.Check the on-screen information and tap Reset settings.

Step 5. Tap Reset.

Note:  Please note that resetting your networks will reset your Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other network settings.

Also, you may submit an error report through the Samsung Members app as follows:

Step 1. Long press Samsung Members icon on Apps screen and tap Error reports.

Step 2. Tap OK on agreement popup to send system log data.

Step 3. Select Symptom category "Others".

Step 4. Describe the problem in details and SEND.
