Hello allanPeseral,

We appreciate you contacting us to share your unpleasant experience with your Samsung Galaxy A11's issues with missing files, videos, songs, stored at SD cards after an update.

I completely understand your disappointment because you had high hopes that your files would be in the same folder, but rest assured ; we're here to help you figure out your device's problems, offer quick fixes, and provide guidance.

A) First, ensure that your device is up-to-date with the latest Software updates.

Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Download and Install > Follow On-screen notifications.

B) Remove and re-insert your SD Card & External memory.

Check your SD card & External memory for any sign of wear and tear. Wipe them clean and insert them back properly to your Samsung device.

C) Restarting your device.

Press and hold the Power key and the Volume down key simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it.

D) Where to find My Files.

You can find almost all of the files on your smartphone in the My Files app. By default this will appear in the folder named Samsung.

The My Files app automatically organizes your files into categories, making your documents easy to find. You can also look through your recent used files, search for a file by name or browse all the files you have saved.

Locating your Files

Storage locations as follows: Tap one of the storage options to see all of the files that are saved to it.

  • Internal Storage
