What is this? Black foggy tint on screen display edges

It just recently happened, where the upper left edge of my screen had a black foggy tint. It only shows whenever I open an app folder or when I check recently opened apps. It started with just one edge and then the upper right and the bottom edges as well. I was able to take a screen shot of it too!

EDIT: This happened last night but when I woke up earlier, it's already gone!

It just looks normal, no black tint or whatever. It happened last night but when I woke up earlier, it's already gone. Back to normal.
