SupportI am currently in Hokkaido snowboarding. My phone approximately 1 year old and has previously worked in subzero temperatures.
Last week, the phone was still working normally between 0 to -10°C. A few days ago, it completely shut down for the first time in the cold.
Attempting to power it on with the power button would boot the Samsung logo, then the galaxy z flip logo then power off again. The phone would not boot normally again until connected to a charger first. After booting, the battery percentage was 60ish %. This has now occurred twice in the past 2 days where the battery has been above 80%. I have to resort to bringing my battery pack around to constantly provide power to the phone to prevent the shut down.
Could I get a response from Samsung about this issue please?

Hi, the best optimal operating temperature is between 0 and 35°C, so using it for extended period of time below 0 degrees will reduce ur battery lifespan. I suspect the shut-down was due to the activation of the device safeguards to shut it down.
