My friend has an A7 tablet and would like to connect it to a printer. Can anyone tell me whether this will work by cable or Wi-Fi and if so which printers are most likely to cooperate?
Tbh I've never done this, but appears possible through Settings, Connections, Printing (Tab S9 One UI 6). In there are 'Default print service' and 'Download plugin'. Press the former and 'Searching for printers' shows up while the latter brings up available plugins for different printer brands in Play Store. Assuming connection through wi-fi
Thanks Elon, I have the same options in a A8 so it's just remains to see if we can determine if certain printers are receptive to the input. When I was helping him yesterday we downloaded a Samsung print and a Brother print app because he had a Brother printer, but it doesn't have Wi-Fi (we're trying to print via USB cable) so maybe Brother looks like a strong possibility
