Galaxy Tab A8 Turns Off On Its Own

So, I recently bought a Tab A8 since I need one for school use. It was okay the first day, but then I started to experience an issue: it turns off on its own—in all of a sudden.

I thought it was just because of the screen timeout or maybe I accidentally pressed the side button, but nope. It really turns off on its own; not shutdown, but just turn off like locking the screen.

I tried adjusting screen timeout to 30 minutes, and it still does persist—sometimes even when I'm actively scrolling. Should I ask for a replacement now? Any thoughts?

You need to go back to the store where you bought that Tab A8 and tell the problem that you encountered. Or you can ask a replacement for that.

I believe the random turning off of Tab A8 is dependent on the position and orientation of the devive. Sometimes if i just move the A8 upright it will turn back on.
