Hello,

After installing the book cover keyboard to my Galaxy Tab S7 I can only type in 1 language.

What exactly is going on:
In any application where you need to enter text, the keyboard uses only in 1 language. It does not matter whether I switch the language using a special key or shortcut "shift + space".
When switching a language the message appears at the bottom of the screen, but typing continues in the same language as before.

To exclude the obvious tips:
I have added the input languages I need in the settings, but the keyboard uses only 1 of the entire list.

If there's only 1 language in the list, whatever it is, the keyboard uses it.

Note that when you press the key to change the language, a message appears about changing the language, but in fact the input continues in the main language.  It looks like a bug.

I have seen a lot of messages about this problem on the Internet, but unfortunately not a single working solution.
I am surprised that I did not find similar requests in the Samsung community.

Speakiñg in ignorance. Can you uninstall the bòok cover keyboard (Google uninstall book cover keyboard and model name)? If so, do and restart. If it only shows a wrong keyboard try changing your device's keyboard e.g. from Samsung keyboard to Google keyboard in Play Store. Basically keyboards may have language software specific to that keyboard so uninstalling and reinstalling particular language may help. Find the specific model for your book cover keyboard and do a Google search on that. Also Google S7 book cover keyboard + generic software.

I don't quite understand you. I got the feeling from your text that you are talking about a software keyboard.

My question was about a physical keyboard. An optional accessory.

I can physically disconnect the keyboard and reboot the tablet, but that doesn't help. The first time I did that, I got a message about updating the keyboard firmware, but that didn't help. Further disconnecting and rebooting also didn't help.

Using an alternate keyboard from the play store has no effect on the physical keyboard. I have tried gboard.

Samsung Members forum is specific to Australia. If you have a VPN you can choose a server in another country and you will get that country's forum and Play Store content. Your device switches back to Australia when you close the VPN.

No, I was talking about a hardware keyboard. What I find different from my own case was that I didn't need special software for adding a keyboard in a case to my A7 tablet (with some minor changes in keyboard settings). However, I have, in an ad hoc way, trialled different approaches to solve problems. Samsung devices often come with built-in unremoveable software but can be inactivated by installing an alternnate usually found in Google Play I have changed the following apps, Phone, Messenger, keyboard,. I steered you towards Samsung and Google keyboard software because there are very many different keyboard apps of varying quality. My shotfire approach, as I try to etc identify the cause of a problem, is to try to think of the most likely cause to try first. Not knowing what precisely you have tried but hoping you have tried some of the obvious and suggested others. Google is far better for searching problems as it has far more answers, including Samsung Members! Type the heading of your post and you will see it! The trick in Google is to use Google Advanced search (e.g. for phrases and date) and carefully chosen keywords, plus 'best' e.g.

Presuming you can see the app in Settings, Apps if you haven'tcalready go into the settings, find the caches and clear them then restart. You will probably have to reinstall the languages.
