Insert sim in Samsung S8 ultra tablet

Does anyone know if you have to remove the black piece of plastic in the tray before inserting the sim card as I've tried to place it on top of the black part but it won't remain flush with the tray and I don't want to force it, can anyone help me with this issue.

Maybe a silly question, but are you sure you got the 5G model and not the WiFi model?

I bought the WiFi model and I've followed the above instructions but it just won't stay flushed because of the black plastic bit, so my question is do I remove the black plastic or not?

No don't remove it.

You cannot insert or use a sim card in the wifi model.

To install a micro sd card:
