Tablets
Yesterday I upgraded the firmware of my Tab S8 Ultra to ONE UI 7 per the system prompt.
After the update finished, the tablet said something about it had disabled write access to the SD card to prevent issue. At that point, I could still view the photos in the SD Card. Today, I found the Card is not readable anymore. The tablet just shows no card is inserted.
I powered off the tablet, took the SD card out then reinserted the card, power back on, still no sign of the SD card.
I plugged the SD card to my desktop, everything works fine incl. Read and write.
Have any other folks here also experienced the same issue?

Hey, have you tried a different card to see if that works?

See how you go with clearing Storage System Cache;
* Go to Settings > Apps > 3-dot menu > Show system apps
* Clear cache and data for:
1. Samsung Media Storage
2. External Storage
3. StorageManager
* Reboot tablet
* Go to Settings > Apps > 3-dot menu > Show system apps
* Clear cache and data for:
1. Samsung Media Storage
2. External Storage
3. StorageManager
* Reboot tablet

Thx for your suggestions. Tried but to no avail..
This failure just happened so coincidentally with the update of ONE UI 7. Everything was just working perfectly before the update.

thanks for testing - so looks likely to be a firmware-level issue introduced in the update
Last resort (I suppose) would be to do the same clear for 'One UI Home' and rebooting once again
If still unresolved, submit a bug report directly to Samsung Support;
* Samsung Members > Support > Error Reports > Storage > Add system logs
