Samsung S9 FE fingerprint sensor not working

Just bought my tablet around April 2024.

Suddenly my tablet's fingerprint sensor not working

Did a hard reset

Accessibility reset, settings reset, update

Sometimes it comes back to normal, then i notice that when i put back the samsung tab case freebie, it will not work again.

When it works, fingerprint sensor registers my new fingerprint like normal. What's happening?

i think no one can help you here, and it's sad given it's samsung forum community. 

Try to clear data app of your biometrics and securefolder via adbapp control.

I did the diagnostic tool fingerprint and it was okay lol. Weird samsung

Hayyyys. So weird samsung. I know this isnt hardware problem, because when i remove the case, then fingerprint is back, i remove the existing fingerprint then add new again, sensor works well. Then later on, sensor will not work again!

Help your loyal samsung fan boi here, getting back the tab for repair is a toxic process and we dont have a repair shop in here, ordered this online!

Ang hassle naman po niyan, gusto ko ireturn kahit hassle, pero dumagdag pa yung walang service center. Nasa probinsya ako ng Ilocos Sur. Gusto ko nalang ipa pick up, tapos hassle na naman, landline lang?!
