I have a new Galaxy Tab S7 Plus. I've bought a magnetic folder for protection. I thought this Tab has defect when display suddenly turned off when the back of the Tab touches the magnetic folder, even I couldn't turn it on until I move the folder (or case if you call it) away from the back of the Tab. Is that normal? Should I buy a non-magnetic case for it? It works great without the case but I need the case for it's protection.
Thanks for reply NameX13. I've bought 3 different folders (1 with bluetooth keyboard). It all causes same issue. When I take these cases off, it works fine. I remember seeing something in Goigle that have a little sticker at back of the Tab to prevent it happening.
Hi @Deafo, is the case a Samsung branded one? The Samsung one is also magnetic, however is positioned in a way that it should not trigger the screen to turn off. Usually this mechanism is used to ensure your screen is turned off when you close the case.
If it is a 3rd party case, I suggest going back to the store you purchase the case from and advising of the issue to discuss a remedy.
