When can we get HDR support for our tab s9 ultra on netflix? Its annoying to know that this expensive tablet only runs on SD quality for netflix.

What is your Netflix subscription level? It says full HD "only" on mine. But it certainly does HDR10

Hi deathkid13! The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra does support HDR viewing. You can uninstall then reinstall your Netflix app to fix this issue, and let us know how it goes. 😊

Does it also support 4k? Because I have premium subscription and it shows HD

Weird. Tab S9 series are L1 certified. Reinstall Netflix and restart your device. Do also check your subscription tier.

Do note that for some annoying reason, Netflix can only do 720p, 1080p, and 4K resolution. So even though the Tab S9U's display is 2K (1440p), Netflix will only output 1080p.

Yes, even if you have the most expensive plan, the tablet will only output 1080p.

mine has hdr its a tab s9+, it maybe the type of plan you have on your netflix or the internet speed, i had the same issue before when im using cell data
