Tips & TricksYou can now turn your TV into a captivating interior decor item with the innovative Ambient Mode feature.
Ambient Mode lets you choose from a variety of decorative content, information, and more to elevate your living space to a whole new level of style and sophistication. You can make your TV blend seamlessly with the wall behind it, creating an illusion that the TV has disappeared, or display your own photos and images on the TV screen, adding a personal touch to your home decor.
But that's not all! Ambient Mode goes beyond just aesthetics. It also provides useful information such as the time and weather, making it a practical feature for your everyday life. With Ambient Mode, your TV becomes not just a source of entertainment, but also a functional and fashionable addition to your home.
How to Start Ambient Mode
There are two easy ways to activate Ambient Mode. You can turn on with your remote control directly or select Ambient Mode menu in Smart Hub.
- Remote control: Press the Ambient Mode button.
- Smart Hub: Choose Ambient Mode icon.
You may visit 'How to use Ambient Mode on Samsung QLED TV' for more details.

Tips & TricksHow do I stop ambient mode from moving to the next screen? I want it to show the one screen, like a fireplace for example, and not move to the babbling brook.

Tips & TricksI can't use any of my photos and its very aggravating.
To add your own photos i am supposed to use the SmartThings app. Check. I follow the instructions. But when I get to the part of adding photos, I only have two options, picking from the Samsung Gallery app, or picking from OneDrive. Unfortunately, I have an iphone, and ios does not have a Samsung Gallery app. And when I click on OneDrive, it says I first have to go into the Samsung Gallery app to link OneDrive to it. So both routes require the Samsung Gallery app which I can't get on my phone. I also checked the Samsung Gallery app for PC, but it won't facilitate linking, and is really just a tool for downloading photos from your phone (a phone with the Samsung Gallery app).
It would be great if someone could explain how I'm wrong and you actually DON'T need a Samsung phone to use your own pictures on Ambient Mode but I am not seeing it.

Tips & TricksI've managed to fix this problem in Android (ie can only see photos in the root folder not in libraries etc) with using the phone photo app and selecting the picture then sharing, and select smarthings show on TV.

Tips & TricksSo... issues with ambient mode on a Q60:
No easy way to view existing uploaded photos to delete ones you don't want to display (I think you have to delete all)
No way to change frequency of scrolling through images (it is far too quick by default)
No way to get the TV to turn on into ambient mode by default (if you could you could link to a motion sensor)
Anyone found a fix for these please?
Somewhat disappointed with the functionality of ambient mode I have to say
Thanks
Sam
