Tips & Tricks
Hey Members!
With the release of the S25 Series, a new feature has also arrived. We call it, Audio Eraser.
It's a pretty nifty feature for those who love to film their most precious moments, from parties to events to concerts - Audio Eraser has your back when it comes to cleaning up all of that unwanted background noise.
I'm going to run through on where to find this feature and how to use it below.
Audio eraser on your Galaxy S25 series phone uses AI analysis to differentiate and categorize sound types and remove noise from videos. You can eliminate distracting noises by adjusting the volume of voices, wind, and other sounds in Video Editor.
After taking a video, you can edit the audio with Audio eraser by following the steps below.
Navigate to and open the Gallery app, and then select your desired video.
Tap Edit (the pencil icon), and then tap Audio (the speaker icon) on the bottom right.
The Edit icon highlighted on an image in the Gallery app.
Tap Audio eraser, and then tap the desired audio button, such as Voice/speech, Music, Noise, Crowd, Nature, and Noise, to remove it from the video. The Audio eraser feature highlighted in the Gallery app.
Note: When using Audio eraser, sounds with a short duration may not be detected, and ambiguous sounds may be misidentified as other sounds with similar characteristics.
Tap the Play icon on the video to watch the playback.
Tap Hear original in the top left corner to hear the original audio.
Tap Auto in the bottom right corner to view the noise levels.
Tap Mute in the bottom right corner to mute the video’s audio.
When you’re finished, tap Done.
Next, tap Save copy to save your edited video to the Gallery app.
TL;DR, here's a video covering most of what I explained above.
