Using an internal camera1, AI Vision Inside2 can help identify up to 33 fresh food items when put in or taken out and allows you to help manage a food list3. You can view door bin images, get recipe suggestions, or manage 'Use by date' by manually setting the date.

Samsung Food4 lets you create a list of the food in your refrigerator and manage expiry dates, so you can check what you have when you need to anytime, anywhere. It also recommends personalised recipes based on your preferences and existing ingredients.

From meal planning to taking stock of what you already have, grocery shopping is now easy with the Shopping List functionality.
Just add items to your list with a touch or voice command. You can even access it on your compatible smartphone and check it while on a grocery run.

dietary needs and favourite cuisines to get personalised meal plans.
1 Red light will turn on when camera is working. User's appearance may be captured, but surroundings other than food item will be automatically blurred.
2 As of March 2024, AI Vision Inside can recognise up to 33 food items like fresh fruits and veggies. Items need to be scanned 1 at a time. If the food is not recognizable, it may be listed as unknown item. AI Vision Inside cannot identify or list any food items in the fridge door bins or freezer. It recognises food items based on an on-device smart food management system which combines food detection and classification models to help identify food items. Learning models may be updated periodically to help improve accuracy.
