Samsung’s Personalisation Service delivers targeted ads in apps and on the lock screen based on usage patterns. 

You can opt out to reduce personalised ads and data collection. 

Manage the information used to show ads and disable data collection.

1. Opt Out of Personalised Ads 

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your Samsung device. 

Step 2: Tap Security and Privacy.

Step 3: Tap More privacy settings.

Step 4: Tap Ads, Then Ads privacy.

Step 5: Toggle off Ad topics, App-suggested ads and Ad measurement.

Result: This stops Samsung from using your data to personalise ads in Samsung apps. 

You may still see non-personalised ads in some apps. 

2. Disable User Agreements

Step 1: Go to Settings > Samsung Account at top. 

Step 2: Go to Security and Privacy.

Step 3: Toggle off Get news and special offers, then Toggle off Improve personalized advertising.

3. Disable Data Collection for Samsung and Google

Step 1: Go to Settings > Security and Privacy > More privacy settings.

Step 2: Toggle off Send diagnostic data.

Step 3: Tap Usage and diagnostics.

Step 4: Toggle off Usage and diagnostics.

Result: Less target marketing.

4. Block Pop-Up Ads in Samsung Internet 

Step 1: Open the Samsung Internet app.

Step 2: Go to Settings > Privacy Dashboard toggle on Everything. 

Result: This minimizes pop-up ads while browsing on Samsung Internet.

Nice info to get out there. I've also performed the equivalent in my tizen TV which potentially could disclose just as much data.
What about the notorious application customization options within Samsung applications are they still warranted to be disabledle to protect privacy?

I opted out of the idea of customization to be included in both articles, as it's in-house for AI intellegence and encrypted by default.
