Factory reset is a must

Make sure your devices is backed up first but this makes the phone run so much smoother with little to no errors. Factory reset only after your backed up. Hint I didnt back up my settings I let those fully refresh. Hope this helps

samsung cloud to back up everything but my settings. I find it better to let those reset
