Go into the Play Store and select uninstall. No, it can't be fully uninstalled, it will simply roll it back to the previous version. After it does that, select update. After you do this, go to your settings>apps>Facebook>clear data>clear cache. That should solve the issue (and yes, it IS a beta issue). This worked for me, so hopefully it works for others as well.

try restarting your phone after you do all that. also, have you tried clearing the cache partition of the device?

also if absolutely none of that works, try simply logging out and back into Facebook

just go into your app settings and uninstall Facebook. Then go into the playstore and update it and it going to download with no problems

that's literally what I already said. and you can't select uninstall from the settings since it's not an option in the settings. only on the app in the play store
