Text Massages

Something pretty cool I accidentally found in the new update! When you receive a new text and the bubble shows toward the top of the screen, if you drag from the bubble down it opens the full app in a small window.

that's the smart popup view, you can set it per app in the advanced section

That was already an option in Pie. Mine seems to be broken though. When I use the message app in popup view over other apps, it randomly minimizes while I type.

that's not new. I had that before the beta. and honestly not even sure how I turned it on. it just appeared one day. it is a cool feature and it works on other apps as well. I get the pop up on texts, emails and maybe a couple others

are y'all using Android messages or stock Samsung message app?

I use stock Samsung messages. It also works with any app that supports multi window/popup view.

it's in advanced options. pop up. gives you option to turn it on for lots of apps
