Bought a TV from the samsung app from boxing day sale, it was supposed to arrive a week ago but is still a few days away. Meanwhile the price has gone down $250, I contacted the shop and asked if I could get the difference refunded, no. But I can send the order back when it gets here, get a refund, and reorder for the cheaper price, wasting time sending a tv back a forth.

That really seems impractical on samsung's part hopefully one of the Samsung employees in here will come to your rescue. Sorry for what you are going through.

Hi, sorry to hear this. Has the customer service team explained to you that you can cancel the order (if you are still able) and then repurchase the TV? Or you can also message me your order number and have someone look into this.

They changed their story in each reply. First they said they couldn't refund the amount as I had already received the item, when I pointed out I hadn't, then suddenly they said they stopped price matching a few months ago (which i said is irrelevant, i wasn't trying to get a price match as price matches are for competitors pricing) then this morning they said they couldn't refund me but thanked me for not canceling and reordering.... which is just an odd thing to say. I'll msg you my order number but the TV is now out of stock so I cant cancel and reorder now, handy that customer service waited for that to happen before finalizing I wasn't getting a refund.
