Program Guide & Recording on UA65BU8000WXXY TV

HI All, hoping I can get this resolved. It's driving me mad. I used to have a UA55RU8000WXXY TV and there was a program guide icon on the home screen for free to air TV. It also gave me the option to record to a USB. It all worked perfectly. 

I recently decided to get a bigger screen and got a UA65BU8000WXXY 2022. There is no program guide on the home screen. Instead I have to ask Bixby to show me the program guide which she often mistakes for GOD with my accent lol. Also, The TV won't record to the same USB I had plugged into the older TV. 

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried pressing (NOT up and down) the channel button on your remote control to show the program guide?

As for the USB, maybe try formatting it to NTFS (if not yet in that format).

After checking the spec page, this TV does not have live recording.
