As title suggests, I enjoyed the previous iteration; the current UI is just poor design. It shouldn't take more clicks to do things - at least unlock a substantial amount of customisation options. Prior to this version (I have the QN90B for reference);
- it was faster (snappier)
- it included a shortcut bar to change apps or source that did not take you away from main viewing. This for me is almost a dealbreaker for my next TV.
I would prefer to see;
- more customisation
- option to remove ambient feature from view
- actually optimise the OS.
- and just for good measure, bring back the shortcut bar at the bottom of the screen for home. Why the hell would I want to see a massive full screen home screen that I can barely customise.
This is my second samsung tv and it will be my last!
I absolutely despise this new operating system. Switching apps is a major pain. The old interface was intuitive and easy. Just pin everything you want to the shortcut bar that the home button pops up for you anywhere!
