WearablesHi @Pierryck, unfortunately we don't have this as an option on our watches at the present. However I do think it's a great idea and have taken your feedback and forwarded the suggestion internally to our team.

WearablesI would second adding this as an option. Not only that, but the maximum charge limit should be adjustable both on phones and on watches (so I could choose 70% if I wanted to, or 90%).
Furthermore, I think smartwatches should be adjustable in terms of charging speed. I believe they're already limited by temperature, but if I only charge my watch at night, I might want to enable a very slow charging speed to further extend the life of the device.
Grateful if this is passed on as a suggestion. 😃

WearablesHi Laura,
I'm quite disappointed to see that this feature is not added to watches yet, I purchased the latest galaxy watch 5 classic 47mm, and I was expecting to see this update now on the new watches. please bring up the subject again. they seem to have forgotten about it.

WearablesI bought a Galaxy watch with the S20 Ultra when it was new. I put the watch on charge every night and in about 2 months the battery was fried. It would show full while on the charger then as soon as I took it off it would die instantly. So either the charge circuit was overcharging and toasted the battery or the battery was a bad quality one.
I stopped wearing it since I was used to not having a watch and never got around to dealing with it. Shame to waste all that money really.
At least if I could set the charge level lower I might be able to avoid this happening again.

WearablesYeah, this would increase the battery life like they already done in the Phones (limiting to 85%). Hope they do it on all Samsung Watches soon! (I have Samsung Watch 4 Classic)

WearablesYes I agree to the holding of an increase in the battery charging limit on this watch, the same as the charging limit on Samsung smartphones to increase battery life

WearablesStill no updates that take care of this issue? This seems like a very simple fix that would increase the lifespan of the watch significantly.
