WearablesHey there!
Just adding to the comment above.
On the Galaxy Wearable screen of the phone, tap Watch settings > Accounts and backup.
Back up your data automatically to your connected phone, and tap the Save backup to Samsung Cloud switch to turn it on to store the backup on the Samsung Cloud.
Additionally, the data from your Watch will be automatically backed up between 1AM and 5AM if your Watch is connected to your phone, your phone has more than 30% battery, and the screen is off.
Hope this was helpful! :)

WearablesSecond you have two backup options, one to Samsung and one to Google. Go to Settings, be prepared to note any error messages. Go to Settings, scroll to Backup and do backups for both Samsung and Google. If this works then at least you have current backups to work with. Next check your automatic backup settings. Delete/turn off. Then turn on again. Check destination of backups in case they were going to the wrong device. Check sufficjent space in your Google driveg. That's all I can suggest for now. If this occurred after an update look at cache problems, go from Community page, top right, and search for cache problems. Google for more answers.
