Using watch on fob strap

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what feature will work on my Watch4 if worn on a fob watch strap. Just pedometer? I cant wear it on my wrist at work for infection reasons. Thanks

Could you wear it on your opposite wrist? Or is that not an option? I can't imagine the watch would detect steps very well on a fob wrist strap...

From this https://ozstraps.com.au/products/galaxy-watch-nurse-pin-fob website it claims to track steps but I would assume with less accuracy. You could try asking a question on that website under 'Ask a question'

Hi @Roxiing, the Watch4 would still be able to track steps without being on your wrist, however do note that the numbers may be inaccurate as a result of swinging from the fob watch strap.
