갤럭시 S23 카메라/갤러리 6월 업데이트 내용을 소개드립니다.

사진 모드와 같이 인물 사진 모드에 2x 선명도를 개선하여 줌 아이콘을 추가했고, 갤러리 모션 포토의 동영상 클립을 한번에 삭제하는 기능을 추가했습니다.
또한, 사진 리마스터에 광각(Wide) 왜곡 보정과 Camera Assistant(카메라 어시스턴트)에 Adaptive Pixel Off 기능을 추가했습니다.
추가로 카메라 화질과 성능을 최적화하였으니 사용하시면서 궁금한 점 말씀해 주시면 빠르게 답변드리겠습니다.

1. 인물 사진 모드에서 2x로 촬영할 수 있도록 줌 아이콘을 추가하고 저조도에서 3x 촬영 시 선명도를 개선했습니다.
센서의 특성과 화질 개선을 위한 AP 성능을 고려하여 지원 모델을 선정했습니다.
▶ 지원 모델 : S23 시리즈

2. 갤러리에서 모션 포토의 동영상 클립을 한번에 삭제할 수 있도록 기능을 추가했습니다.
▷ 갤러리 > 우상단 돋보기 > 사진 유형에서 모션 포토 선택 > 사진 선택 > 더보기 메뉴 > 동영상 클립 삭제
▶ 지원 모델 : S22/S21/S20/N20 시리즈, Z Fold4/Fold3/Fold2, Z Flip4/Flip3/Flip5G/Flip (SW 업데이트 예정)

3. 사진 리마스터에서 광각(Wide) 렌즈로 촬영한 이미지에서 가장 자리에 있는 인물의 왜곡을 보정하도록 기능을 추가했습니다.
▶ 지원 모델 : S22/S21/S20/N20 시리즈, Z Fold4/Fold3/Fold2, Z Flip4/Flip3/Flip5G/Flip (SW 업데이트 예정)

4. 사진 모드에서 광각(Wide) 렌즈로 줌 1x~1.5x 촬영 시 화면 가장 자리에 있는 인물의 왜곡을 보정하도록 기능을 추가했습니다.
인물 Segmentation, 보정 위치 계산 및 Warping 처리를 위한 AP 성능을 고려해 지원 모델을 선정했습니다.
▶ 지원 모델 : S23 시리즈
※ 그 외 모델은 사진 리마스터, Enhance-X를 통해 지원하고 있습니다.

5. Camera Assistant에 고화소 촬영 시 풍경의 특성과 밝기 환경에 따른 최적의 화소 자동 변경 기능(Adaptive Pixel)을 Off 할 수 있는 기능을 추가했습니다.
이 기능은 최적의 화소 자동 변경 기능을 적용한 모델(S23 시리즈)에 한해 지원할 예정입니다.
▷ Camera Assistant > Adaptive Pixel > On/Off
▶ 지원 모델 : S23 시리즈

6. Camera Assistant에서 속도 우선 선택 후 역광 조건에서 촬영 시 간헐적으로 발생하는 HDR 합성 오류를 개선했습니다.
▷ Camera Assistant > 촬영 속도 > 속도 우선 선택

7. S23 Ultra에서 0.6x 슈퍼스테디(Super Steady) 촬영 시 근거리 선명도를 개선했습니다.

8. 저조도에서 단말을 좌우로 움직일 때 사진모드 프리뷰가 부드럽게 움직이도록 최적화했습니다.

9. 사진 모드에서 고화소 촬영 시 색감 및 하늘 표현력을 개선했습니다.

10. 특정 단색 배경에서 광각(Wide)에서 망원(Tele)로 렌즈 전환 시 색감 변화를 최소화 하도록 최적화했습니다.

멤버스분들이 보내주신 피드백을 계속 확인하고 있으며, 지속적으로 개선하고 업데이트 할 수 있도록 준비하고 있습니다.

Very nice features, thank you for your work but I have one complain. Who from the Samsung users wanted the feature Adaptive Pixel On/Off in Camera Assistant App? You said that video softening feature is unnecessary but in reality nobody asked for adaptive pixel, they asked for reducing the sharpness in videos because it looks oversharpened. If you want the videos to look more like dslr cameras you have to get rid of the oversharpening. Every professional videographer that made a video of the Galaxy s23 said that the video is really gut BUT the sharpness is way too much. Speak with them and you will see that I don't lie. Give us the option to reduce or disable video sharpness in auto mode and in pro video mode. And trust me the video will look much much better. I know that I am writing this 100 times but I will continue till you fix that. I trust you and your team that you will bring this feature

4번 기능 때문인지 업데이트 후 전면카메라 일반모드로 얼굴 촬영시 앨범에 저장되는 순간 자동 보정되면서 구도가 바뀌며 얼굴이 늘려지면서 변형됩니다. 또한 업데이트 전에는 촬영화면에 보이는 그대로 앨범에 바로 저장되었는데 업데이트 이후에는 사진 찍고 앨범에 들어가면 사진이 몇초동안 자동보정되는게 보여지고요. 자세한 사항 사진과 링크와 함께 오류 보고드리니 확인해주시면 감사하겠습니다.

12mp 기본 모드로 돌아와요

궁금한 점 있습니다. S22 시리즈에 인물 모드가 1배, 3배만 지원되는 이유가 있나요? 사진은 노트20 인물 모드인데 1배, 2배 지원되는데 왜 S22 시리즈는 안 되는 것인지 궁금하네요.

Hello, please bring the picture softening feature also to expert raw. Picture softening doesn't function on expert raw, so it would be really nice if it would work also on expert raw because many users like me find it oversharpened

Thanks very much for the comment. By the way, we don't have any plan to add picture softening function to Expert RAW. Expert RAW's main object is to provide the best raw image with deep learning model. We will optimize further of Expert RAW image quality with raw 16 bit-depth, so that user can edit with our 16bit-depth image. Thanks.

Yes you are right regarding expert raw. Thank you for all the good modes and camera settings that no other phone than Samsung has. We appreciate your work. If you would add a video softening feature it would be really really great and then Samsung would have no competition when it comes to video quality and video settings. I know that there is pro video mode, which I love and is really good, but video softening would be the cherry on the cream:)

S23U 사용자로서 매우 만족스러운 카메라를 사용 중이라 언제나 감사드립니다.

다름이 아니라,

1. 제스처 내비게이션 사용
2. 설정 - 유용한 기능 - 화면 캡처 및 화면 녹화에서 '상태표시줄 및 내비게이션 바 숨기기' 기능을 활성화

1과 2 조건을 만족할 때, 스크린샷을 찍고 기본 갤러리에서 확인하면 해상도가 좀 낮아보이는? 글씨가 약간 자글거리는? 증상이 발생합니다.

버튼 내비게이션을 사용하거나, 상태표시줄 및 내비게이션 바를 포함하여 화면을 캡처하면 깨끗하게 잘 보이는데,

유독 1과 2 조건을 모두 만족하면 기본 갤러리 앱에서 스크린샷이 자글거려 보입니다. (특히 글씨가 많은 화면 스크린샷의 경우 티가 많이 납니다)

다른 앱에선 어떤 조건이든 깨끗하게 잘 보이는 걸 보면 기본 갤러리 앱의 문제로 추정되는데, 이 부분 한 번 확인해주실 수 있을까요?

혹시 다른 담당자님께 말씀드려야 하는 사항이라면 제가 따로 오류 보내기 기능 이용하겠습니다.

저는 개인적으로 이번 업데이트하고 좀 안좋아졌습니다 저 개인의 문제일수 있으나 업데이후 배터리충전문제도 있고 방금 확인되었는데 네비 켜고 배터리 충전 잘되던것이 이제 충전중이라고는 표시되나 배터리를 까먹는 상태입니다 그리고 발열도 예전보다 심해진거 같습니다 카메라업뎃 하면서 히든업데이트도 같이 된듯합니다 업데 안할껄 하는 후회가 옵니다

Hello, please reduce the sharpening in instagram stories, snapchat snaps and tiktok videos captured directly in the build in third party app cameras. I know that you are working with third party apps to give the best out of the cameras and I appreciate it but please reduce the sharpness. You can see the oversharpening artifacts, which are called halos around objects. In the stock camera app, the sharpness of the video is also too much. Hopefully you will finally get rid of oversharpening. Thank you for your work

Because you said that an option where you can reduce or disable sharpening in video (basically video softening) would be unnecessary, I made two polls on Reddit regarding this. Here are the results and it sill still ongoing:

야간 모드는 자동 야간 모드 촬영과 다릅니다.

자동 야간 모드는 사진을 녹색으로 캡처하는 반면 다른 야간 모드 카메라는 정확한 색상을 재현합니다.

No offence ofcourse but it's incredibly frustrating to see all these updates while still not having snapchat intregration for the s21 ultra. Last time I asked this question under a different post you told me you would get back to me the same day. Yet I haven't heard a thing since april. Even worse is the fact that this feature was announced in february 2022. What's going on?!

Regarding SnapChat for Samsung, we are very sorry for very late release. I checked with SnapChat, and they said AB testing has been done, and they will release the night mode first soon. I'll regularly check with the company, and let you know when they fix the release date. Thanks.

will there be any updating of the s23ultra camera to portrait mode. edge detection is not like the s22ultra. she was better there. it doesn't look very natural and when you reduce the option to 3 it doesn't look natural again ... the hair shafts are missing ... if the camera has autofocus and laser. and AI intelligence and it still looks bad ... or the image processing is still not at the level of some other phones
