I have recently purchased a S23 off the on-line store and used 2 phones as trade-in. I am supposed to get back $900 in total as I upgraded from a s22 and another Samsung phone . It's been nearly 4 weeks now and despite multiple followups I still do not have my money despite being charged on my credit card. I received conformation from asurion the phones were received and all in the condition as I stated. I am now looking at what formal options. Obviously I don't want to go down that path. I just want my money back!!!. I would hope that Samsung steps in if they are recommending using this organisation as they extensively advertise a trade-in program and I don't believe can palm it off. If anyone has ideas let me know. Thank you,

I didn't have an issue with my trade in thankfully, but I have read that many others have.
I was following up through Samsung online chat about every step of the process. After I put my order in, before it was shipped I was chasing them up asking for a tracking number etc for my new phone. I also kept checking the "tracking" for my trade in phone so I knew when exactly they received it etc.
I would be contacting them through chat every day for the next few days & keeping a log of the conversations. Then if the money still isn't refunded, take it further.

Yes, Asurion has definately gone downhill this year.

Several times I've used them this year and every time I would get an email telling my device hadn't been returned, while in fact I was tracking the return and could see they had it for a few days 🤦🏻‍♂️

Makes me wonder how many sales Samsung have possibly lost due to Asurion.

Having said that, all credits were returned within 5 days of them confirming my return was as described.

For those looking to use Asurion via an online sale, photograph the device well, and if possible film the device before and during packing!
Also, pack the device yourself at home!
