DiscussionI've used only the Samsung Galaxy line of phones, starting with Galaxy s2 until note20ultra5g, which I'm still using.
Having removable storage was always factored into this choice.
Note20u is the best phone I ever had, but it's reaching EOL for no reason, so
I'm forced to replace it since the security patching is essential.
If Samsung no longer wishes to provide us with such a choice, I may as well migrate to the iPhone ecosystem instead!
It does not solve the issue with the lack of removable storage, but at least a much longer lifecycle would make it a better choice for me.

DiscussionI usually buy the flagship Samsung phones until they stopped putting in the MicroSD slots, I've been on my S10 and refused to update because of it. I don't like my photos being on a server and I want access locally. My phones screen finally got damaged after all this time and I've been looking around for phones with expandable storage. Samsungs A series phones aren't as good, but they still carry the microSD slot, may go this route since the Sony Xperia isn't sold in the US, Motorola also sells the moto G that still has the slot, both run on android so wouldn't be too terrible. Neither are my first choice I prefer to stick with Samsung, but who knows maybe it's time for a change.

DiscussionI'm still using a note 10 plus because the newer models just don't have a micro SD card slot anymore. I tryed switching over to the A series for a bit and they are great and all but they don't have Dex and I love using Dex. Come on Samsung, you can at least give the FE models a micro SD card slot.
