Is the Samsung trade ASURION is a SCAM

I got caught in this scam, stupid me traded in my perfect working 1TB Samsung note 9 which was in a UAG and whitestone-done glass from the first minute to this company. Sent in spotless condition as brand new in original box and screen sticker  , to be graded as 'Non Good Working Order' 

No refund, I'm out of funds and out of a mint perfect phone 

Do NOT use the samsung trade option, it's a SCAM

I'm dealing with similar issue. Call samsung directly and escalate it. Also if Asurion have taken money from your account. Call your bank and report fraud as they are not acting legally. Good luck 👍

I have done a bank dispute, Called Samsung with 3 options

1 Provide original credit 

2 provide Samsung credit 

3 organise return of original phone and I'm returning the new S24 for a full refund (There are lot of other phones out there)

Don't trust Asurion I too got caught in this scam I traded mu Samsung s 22 ultra to them through Harvey Norman Macrath Hill branch they took $375 from my account as I spent and they asked me to send the phone to Asurion through Australia post.Now they the phone which I sent to them is ineligible. This is a good lesson to me. In future I will not buy any Samsung phone.

That's disgusting. I don't understand how they are still allowed to operate or why Samsung would even be doing business with them. Absolute ***. It's happened to me too surprise surprise 😒 and I haven't even bothered yet with emails & phone calls because I can tell that most of it will be a complete & utter waste of MY time, Ive learnt this from you guys, reading about your bad experiences. My bank account is still overdrawn from where they took my money - the 'security' thing from probably over a month ago. I haven't been able to get back in the black since cause there's alot of *** going on in my life right now and most of it financial. Piss off Asurion, but give us all our money back first!!

Fortunately I just got email from Asurion stating they assessed my phone and matched the original condition and they will process my refund soon. I checked my credit card account refund already there.

Had to same happen to me, a s21 ultra traded at $365 which was working fine and got $10 and "non working order". Did a query 5 days ago through the trade in portal and haven't heard a word back.

They do not reply , and I could not find an option to contact them as they did not reply to my inital contact (Hence I can't add another one)
