Not receiving messages

Whilst using the stock Samsung Messages app, I cannot receive any messages from my friends who use Google Messages

I've always used Google Messages but wanted to swap back to the stock Samsung messages as it's more updated with the new One U.I 4

Ahh ok you using Android 12 . Yes looks ok why I wanted to update

Yeah on A12. New features are only on Samsung messages and not Google.

Have you tried toggling the "chat features" option in the settings of the messages app?

Yeah I've trying toggling that a few times. Doesn't fix unfortunately.

My friend has the 12. S21. Had to play about in message settings a little. I noticed had 2 Sim slots in the settings. Could look there

Try resetting (delink and relink). Or use Google, no app. Then set it up on your hone page

Hi @BigH13, that's strange. Have you tried: 

1. Tap and hold messages > App info > Storage > Clear cache

2. Settings > Software update > Download and install

Let me know how this goes.
