The store just sent me a txt to claim that high demand and weather have caused a delay in my pre-order, which was placed on Feb 12.

I'm calling BS on this excuse, since the store has lied to me several times during the week claiming, Samsung hadn't released pre-orders despite the fact that Samsung started releasing orders almost 2 weeks ago.

Further insult is the fact that another customer was in store collecting their S22+ while I was told this lie last Saturday (26/2).

Edit: unbelievable, waiting until the evening before "official" release to advise of delays.

Samsung Australia needs to have a change. They have been bad recently. Hope you'll get your phone soon.

At this point, I place full blame on RPG as it was their staff who repeatedly lied to me, in store and on the phone.

Hi again @Dolgogi, I've just received a bit more information from our team that I hope can further clarify your issue. The team has confirmed there was a delay on certain Galaxy S22 models due to an all-time high demand. It's been confirmed that the the 512GB is one of the models impacted. 

I do understand your frustration with being advised of delays close to release and have passed on this feedback internally to our team.

Thanks for the reply. My understanding was that there was a stock issue with black and green across all storage sizes, not so much for white or burgundy.
Since I placed my order on the 12th, that indicates to me that the store isn't filling pre-orders on a first come first serve basis.

As you know, my issue isn't necessarily stock, though its a factor.
My issue is the staff and my experiences this week.

Hi @Dolgogi, I definitely understand the confusion as I was receiving information at different times regarding delays and relaying it across different threads. 

Initially, it was confirmed there were stock delays in black and green across all storage sizes at the store you purchased from.

After inquiring further, it was also confirmed that the 512GB and 256GB models were affected in all colours due to high demand across the country. This in addition to changing weather conditions resulted in the current delays.
