To check reception load an android app called Aus Phone Towers. Use left pull out menu to set for your circumstances. Be aware if you are now trying to use 5G that the range is much smaller.. Also check APN settings by Googling "Telstra APN settings 5G". Take care if changing that the settings have to be 100% accurate. You can also test reception by changing your network to 4G and lower under network connections. If 5G is struggking then it might be switching rapidly between 4G and 5G.

There are so many variables that can affect reception of Telstra and other broadband. One day I may produce a checklist that would be better for users to analyse problems. An example, 5G is more affected by distance and obstacles than 4G, just as 3G travels further than 4G. I recently watched a YouTube video that indicated that just turning away from direct line of sight, going around a corner, makes a huge difference to reception and speed, potentially making 5G speed slower than 4G. So I can't tell you why one phone works better than another. In a forum such as this I can only suggest what I think might be a problem whilst ignoring many less likely causes.

Just wondering if you have managed to find any resolution to this issue?
Ice had my S22 ultra on telstra for 12 months now.
The last 3 days I'm having this issue!
Phone will show that I have service. Yet struggle to load anything. Have reset every possible thing other than doing a factory reset.
The answers I got from Telstra store. I would have been better off asking my dog what he thought about it....

Hello @kassie14

I am really sorry that you are having this issue. I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports assist with identifying any deviations in your device performance. Once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further steps.

To send an error report:
Samsung Members app > Support > Error reports > select issue category > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.

Kind regards,
SamsungClaudette
