Once again, Samsung Care proves to be just junk insurance.

Damaged phone again, went to replace it with the next day service that we pay for under Samsung care, only to be told once again that phones are out of stock.

Once again support are useless, putting you into a loop of meaningless escalations and false placations about how important you are to them.

Don't sell a service you can't fulfil.

If anyone else has similar issues, report it to your states consumer protection department.  I have to mine in WA and they are well aware of the issues with Samsung Care and its junk insurance.  They are gathering info and hopefully will take action, similar to action against JB Hifi with their Junk insurance policies.

Hi,

same experience here. They always surprise you, aren't they ?
Similar to your situation, I received my phone 2 months later. Obviously, they sent me an upgraded model, but the whole ordeal was blood boiling.

I reckon you send an email and rely pretty much on written communication. Their customer service is totally junk.

Alternatively you can escalate here on this forum and at the same time try reaching their fb page. Good luck 👍

Omg, if you only read people's reviews on Samsung service providers you will not want to deal with this company, I had a very bad experience myself, so your frustration is completely understandable.
I just don't understand how such a big company that charges a top price for their products can not provide proper customer support.

Umm you mentioned damaged phone versus faulty
I ask because a damaged phone is usually damaged by the owner and is not covered by insnurance - speaking as someone who replaced a screen damaged by me (dropped) very recently.

Thank you, the terms and conditions made interesting reading. I would be interested in due course inlearning what your service fee is. Noting the other comments on the qualty of Samsung service you need also to be warned about problems reported by others regarding Asurion. To consider this, on the Community page top right use the search button and search for Asurion. You should also take photos of packaging, record tracking (snapshots), and make clear notes of any conversations. If you agree anything by phone send a confirming email along the lines "this is to provide a record of our agreement earlier today", not "to confirm our agreement" as that opens up varying the agreement" which they can try to do anyway but this makes it harder..

the service is advertised as next day, clearly all over their website.  fine print in terms and conditions doesn't cover that.  hence consumer protection in WA at least are looking at it and i'd hope other states are.  There are too many complaints regarding this for it to be let slide.

I suggest you extract quotes from the Asurion posts I referred you to and provide this to the WA consumer body.
