Software Update

Can anyone tell me if it is now safe to do the latest software update. I can't afford for my phone to factory reset as a result.

It might be best to hold off on the update for a little while. Samsung are still working on resolving this one.

At the moment, I think Samsung have isolate the update issue, so it should be fine.

However, I highly recommend backing up your phone using Google Photos OR Samsung Smart Switch.

I recommend using Smart Switch since it backs up your Photos / Videos, Files, Apps, Contacts, Messages and more with a click of a button. Then you can restore your phone too if anything happens.

I've updated my S22 Ultra, Tabs 8+ and Fold 4 without any issues

While I agree with the 2 guys above, I would keep a eye on Vodafone's software update website
