Hi my airtag was stolen on the 13th off a train in Czechnia. I am home in Australia and I can see all it's location history. At the moment it is sitting in an electronic shop in Osava...the thief is trying to resell it. How can I disable it so it's useless?

I think it might be a matter of removing device or maybe look in the Samsung find and see if it can be disabled

I phoned technical support they said it has an inbuilt feature, once it's been paired with a device it cannot ever be repaired with another device. It's useless to them. I will deactivate it. I am just curious, it's sitting in an electronic shop in Osava! I wish it had an inbuilt feature to zap fingers who should not be touching it!!

We don't have much trust with other countries legal systems and the value is low so they are unlikely to take action. However sometimes police are looking for reasons to take action. It might be worthwhile to use Google translate and see if they are interested. You could give the position and offer to make the device ring at a specific time. They might just be interested. Unlikely but you never know. If you do we would be interested to hear.

Keep ringing it to annoy them. Eventually they'll probably throw it out
