Anyone else get scammed into buying and S24 from Telstra under the impression that they can claim the Samsung Watch or Tablet, only to find out that its actually not possible because Samsung doesn't accept the Telstra Monthly Invoice as proof of purchase?

Like I said above - complain to the ACCC.  IT's false advertising,  inducing people into getting the new phone. Even though I update my phone every two years I cancelled the last couple of months on my plan to enter into the new plan.  I think Samsung hopes by making it so difficult we'll just go away.  The ACCC website is so very straight forward and the more complaints they get the more likely this sort of behaviour will be stopped

I had the same problem, all I got was the confirmation email, which had all relevant info on it.  Samsung wouldn't accept.  I had to call testra and ask them to send me an invoice.  Then the redemption was accepted. Now it's a waiting game on delivery

Hi you are totally correct- Samsung has no intention of giving you that watch. I also ordered online since I live remotely - nowhere near a Telstra store. I had my order number from Telstra, the welcome email, the phone's IMIE/serial number and like you Telstra said my bill should be enough proof. I sent everything to Samsung.  My bill clearly shows the exact date I made the purchase yet my claim was refused.  I know I proved without a doubt I got the new Galaxy S24 .  So - don't let them rip you off.  I have placed a complaint with the ACCC.   It is a really easy process.  Samsung from the outset showed they had no intention of honouring the redemption.   Lodge a complaint - the ACCC is there to stop this kind of thing happening to consumers.

Hi there. I was declined because I updated my Telstra plan and bought the S24. After arguing with Samsung and sending them emails plus my Telstra account I got totally fed up. I lodged a complaint with Fair Trading. Sent them the correspondence from Samsung and today I received an email from Samsung acknowledging my redemption is approved. It's a straight forward process. Complain to Fair Trading. It's falsely representing something and then not delivering. Now I'm happy
