Tried to use the trade in ID to purchase new Z Fold, can't get past checkout and when I attempted again it completely erased the trade in and the bonus 500. Th money has been taken from my account and now I can't use the ID again as it's already been used. Out money and no new phone. Any help from members, samsung customer service no help as order not showing up on their end. Do I go ahead and cancel trade in and apply again or will that mean I'm out more money?? Help!!!

If you cancel the trade in it means you get that money refunded. Unless you can get Asurion to open up the previous trade up ID but God knows how long you will be waiting for that to happen.

Thanks, after reading the other posts I'm not very positive any trade in will happen at this point. We don't have a retail samsung store in Adelaide as far as I know so unfortunately can't get the trade in or bonus deal any other way than to deal with Asurion.

Have already given this information and have heard nothing. Tried to contact Asurion direct and my email will not go through....what a shock. Expiry date has come and gone and the charge is now not pending in my account, it has gone through. I'm furious this has happened. Now I'm out $415, have no idea when it will be returned and worried Asurion will start taking other charges out. Next stop will be the Telecommunications ombudsman if I don't get this money back.

Have just tried twice on samsung online chat to see what the hell is happening to my complaint and it won't allow me to even answer when a rep comes on. Every email is "escalated" and yet I'm still out $415. Come on Samsung, step up and take some responsibility for the customers you and your dodgy third party Asurion have swindled out of money. Considering the expense of your products and the fact that customers are willing to spend their hard earned cash on, I would have thought you'd take your customer service responsibilities a bit more serious.
