Hello,

Samsung trade up app is having a big issue. I am trying to trade up my phone using the app but after all checks, app is unable to proceed to the next step as my IMEI is blocked, so device failed AMTA check.

This is a glitch in my opinion because I checked IMEI number on AMTA website, it showed that my IMEI is unblocked. Also, I bought this phone outright from samusng website and I am not having contract with any service provider.

Please rectify this!

I was trying to trade up from my S8 to an S22 via Samsung on-line but came to a halt when their process asked for either a photo of my driver's license or passport. For obvious reasons I refused to do this. Why do they make it so difficult? They know the S8 is my phone via the IMEI number registered with them. I live in a remote area and can't easily visit a Samsung store so on-line purchase is what I'm hoping for.
