How to Remove a Device from SmartThings Find

If you've sold or handed in a device that's still visible on SmartThings Find, follow these steps to delete it:

1. Open, the SmartThings app and select "SmartThings Find".

2. Tap, the device you no longer own.

3. Tap, "Find >" at the top right of the map.

4. Tap, the "3-line menu" at the top right corner of the device.

5. Tap, the "3-dot menu" at top right of pages.

6. Select "Remove devices,", choose the device, and then tap "Remove".

7. Reopen, the app to confirm the deletion.

Thanks for your guide. However after step 5 I only the see the option "set favorite" and no "Remove devices". Could you help me on this issue? Thanks.

Repeat step 2. If device still there.

I can confirm as of March 7th 2025 on a device with one UI7 this does not work anymore, the option to delete is not there, there's only the option to set as favorite.

I've been trying to delete my old buds+ that I factory reset and traded in but have not been able neither from the phone nor from the web.

If someone knows or finds a way please share.

IC. I have a Flip 6, as so will have to wait to end of mouth to review this on UI7.

You have to go to "set as favorite". That menu will show all the devices you can track with check boxes to the side of them. Just click the heart off and you´re good to go.
