-file manager. Much easier to move files. Great change and no more accidental deletes. Removal of items is also nice, especially the (for me) unused cloud items
-gallery. Photo album covers! What took so long? That and a trash bin really make a difference. Especially trash as it is an alternate hiding method.
-night mode. Ok it needs work, but a HUGE leap in UI which lets you switch themes instantly. Would like to see future improvements in this area. Clearly the ability is there to allow more user control over the UI and if Samsung wants to stop 3rd party theming, this is an essential area to grow.
-more good lock apps and this is where i'd like to see night mode pair up with in some way with a colour wheel (can we PLEASE get hex code entry?)
-Understanding. Yes. Quietly allowing anyone to downgrade if they choose by not making Pie permanent. This is not by mistake!
-Still able to do just about every tweak i could in Oreo. Yeah not those fatty icons, not yet. But i have lost none of the features previously enjoyed. I know, the camera. Missing the dual buttons for pic/vid. Not cool, but can't come back if we don't ask!

yeah i was able to do up my own custom version with an Android kitchen that turned out better than i expected. Ripped out Bixby and lots of others. 96 Apk's to be exact. Runs like a top. Curious why (for sure with Virgin) that none of the new sounds were included. Not on Sammobile either. Ah well... i've noticed that the built in eq as well as Dolby now will always kick in with my music app, and not interfere if i go with a different eq. So at last it seems we have a well functioning audio system that responds to whatever the user decides.
