Recently purchased a12 as an upgrade to my a7, only to find some very basic features (clipboard; voice activated photoshooting; smart view - screen mirroring) no longer exist. Disappointed, as they were perfect in assisting easy marketing work that I do.
Surely such basic tasks should remain as phone technology develops ???

Have a Q8075 Samsung TV, two Galaxy 4 watches along with two A12 phones and the whole usage of these devices are undermined by the limitations of these phone. When I did my research there was no promotion or exposure of the limitations of these phones. No smart pay as well. Meanwhile my Apple Ipads screen mirror to.me TV seamlessly. So much for Samsung Android compatability.

Looks like we are going back to Apple.

Very disappointed.

Also the Smart Things simply drops off line all the time. Not so smart after all

I had my a12 working perfect with a chromecast dongle and google home. No problems for several months and suddenly....f***Ed. Just spent hours and hours trying to get it functioning again to no avail. When I hit 'cast my screen' ..nothing happens anymore.

A10 still works fine, with all my Samsung TVs. One older, and two are about 3 months old.
Until the next update?
A13/14/145G also does not have the feature anymore! "Smart Things" provides only sound mirroring! But, maybe I can control my toaster with it. Every one of those inflationary updates, every second day, promises more obsolete features. The more "smart", the more "stupid"!

Also installing the Samsung "Smart View" app (apk) doesn't help. So I guess it's a hardware issue on these devices. Spent a lot of time with all those Trash-Ad apps "for Samsung". Nothing works as it should. At least the free versions, if you pay for the garbage don't mean that it works better. Maybe that's the new policy: Pay for the app, buy a Chromecast, and so on, and we decide what, and how you use it when you've to buy a new one. Don't turn off your location...
Matrix and Skynet come to my mind.
