I have purchased an A22 5G phone and cannot find the secure folder app.

I downloaded it from Google but it will not load.

Does anyone know if this app is suitable for the A22 5g?

Set up Secure Folder from device settings

On your device, follow these instructions:

Go to Settings > Biometrics and Security > Secure Folder.

Tap Start.

Tap Sign in when asked for your Samsung Account.

Fill in your Samsung account credentials.

Tap Sign in.

Select your lock type (pattern, pin or fingerprint) and tap Next.

Secure Folder is now set up and is created on your device.

NOTE - To open Secure Folder, tap the Secure Folder icon created on your device apps screen.

Doesn't the A22 5G run One ui Core? If so, One ui Core doesn't have some apps like samsung pay. I'm not sure if I also doesn't have secure folder, but you can check if you have the Core version by going to

Settings > About Phone > Software information and see if it says: One Ui Home Core at the top.
