Just purchase my FIRST mobile phone so my query may seem simple to you all.

I have been creating folders and moving my Apps from the Apps screen into the folders.

But the Apps still remain in the Apps screen which seems like doubling up and using space.

Is this how it is meant to be or am I missing something?

Also, can anybody point me to a good website address so I can learn the basics?

Thanks in advance, RicoAustralia

Probably just icons, i.e. shortcuts, small in size. To test place and hold a finger on the icon, you will usually be given the option to remove (delete icon) or uninstall (remove app entirely) don't do this. Apps stay in app folder but can be moved to a sub-folder. If you are using folders in home leave those in the main app folder alone. You will be surprised how often it is quicker to find an app there i.e. limit sub-folders in the apps folder, note in the app folder the top line provides a search option to find app quickly. Useful if like me the apps folder has 3 or 4 windows and you have to swipe left three or four times to get to the Ws or Zs.

To learn particular features or get a global overview search using YouTube. Otherwise search/download for the manual. As a generalisation,,in the end you are likely to only learn the features relevant to your needs.
